Review: Atkins: Eat Right, Not Less by Colette Heimowitz
Ms. Heimowitz also explains three different Atkins plans so you can choose which one best suits your needs. The book is filled with good low carb dieting advice and great recipes.
I can't wait to try the Chai Cinnamon Waffles and the Power Mug Muffin for breakfast, the Green Goddess Salad and Chipotle Lime Zucchini Crisps for lunch, the Fried Sage Chicken and the Superfast Stroganoff for supper and the Cheesy Scallion Cheddar Cauliflower Mash and Cilantro Parmesan Crackers for snacks. This new cookbook is really going to add variety to my currently rather boring low carb diet.
There's a strong emphasis on eating your veggies in this cookbook, and I really like that. Low carb isn't about shoveling in loads of meat and fat - you have to eat veggies too, and this new Atkins cookbook makes that a snap, and tasty too.
